Prevent'Box: Party Safety and Harm Reduction Kit

This kit will accompany you throughout your student parties and events, helping you raise awareness and reduce risks while having fun!

(A project developed by the Student Health Service of Université Paris-Saclay, co-funded by Université Paris-Saclay and CROUS de Versailles.)

 

A total of 9 Prevent'Boxes are available across the different SHS Health Centres.

What's Inside a Prevent'Box?

  • Anti-spiking drink covers
  • External and internal condoms
  • Disposable breathalysers (0.5 g/L threshold)
  • Alcohol awareness cups
  • Disposable earplugs
  • Information leaflets on prevention and harm reduction at parties and social events
  • Information brochures about the Student Health Service (SSE)
  • Brochures from Université Paris-Saclay's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiative (DALIDA)
  • Technical and methodological guides

Only Student Unions (BDE), Student Sports Associations (BDS) and student associations organising social events are eligible to borrow a Prevent'Box from the SSE Health Centre affiliated with their institution.

  • Prevent'Boxes can only be borrowed following an online reservation (exclusively available to BDEs, BDSs and student associations at Université Paris-Saclay).
  • A Prevent'Box can be collected up to 2 working days before the event.
  • The Prevent'Box must be returned within 2 working days after the event.
  • A €200 deposit may be required in the event of failure to return the Prevent'Box or deliberate damage.

Important: To be eligible to reserve a Prevent'Box for an event, you must first complete the “Party Safety and Risk Prevention” training offered by the Student Health Service.

 

How to Reserve a Prevent'Box

  1. Complete the “Party Safety and Risk Prevention” training. Once you have completed the training, you will receive a link to access the reservation schedule.
  2. Reserve a Prevent'Box using the following form: Prevent'Box Reservation Form

Reservations are exclusively available to members of Université Paris-Saclay student unions and student associations who have completed the risk prevention training.
