BioProbe Personalized Complementary Program

BioProbe offers a personalized complementary program between the M1 and M2 to train in a second discipline through two research laboratory internships (2 internships of 5 to 6 months) and a tailored teaching program in disciplines other than one's major (~60 hours).
Working at the interface of multiple disciplines requires understanding how each discipline poses and resolves scientific questions. The program proposed by BioProbe provides a hands-on experience to become aware of these differences and learn how to overcome them. This interdisciplinary learning will also help develop autonomy, project management skills, communication, and collaboration.
This program is designed for M1 students and includes:
- Personalized guidance by a designated teacher to:
- Identify laboratories within the Paris Saclay area on BioProbe's themes.
- Choose teachings adapted to one’s study project (~60 hours, 2-3 teaching units at the University Paris Saclay or within the framework of EUGLOH).
- Complete necessary administrative procedures to build the individualized program.
- Ensure continuous support throughout the gap year.
- Financing of internship allowances directly disbursed to the laboratories.
