M1 International and European Law - International and European Affairs course

Master's degree
Specialisation International law and European law
Formation initiale
English
French

The international and European affairs track of the Master's in International and European Law aims to gradually specialize students in this field, enabling them to understand and master the legal issues of a global society and preparing them to work with the various actors operating in this environment.

The first year of the Master's offers a common core curriculum of general studies in international and European law, both private and public. It aims to provide students with a solid theoretical foundation, as well as initial practical experience.  At the end of their first year, students continue their specialisation by joining either the Master's in Arbitration and International Trade (MACI) or the Master's in Competition and Contract Law (M2CC). The course emphasises the gradual preparation of students for the world of work, which starts in the first year of the Master's and is reinforced in the 2nd year Master's, among other things by taking part in mock trial competitions and the involvement of numerous recognised professionals. The courses are taught mainly at the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Université Versailles Saint Quentin (UVSQ, Guyancourt), but can also take place at partner law firms.
