It begins with a review of the fundamentals of probability, statistical inference, and uncertainty propagation methods. The foundations of machine learning are then presented, including supervised and unsupervised approaches, deep neural networks, and probabilistic models. The application section explores concrete cases such as materials imaging and the identification of constitutive laws enriched by physics. Finally, a hackathon-style project puts these methods into practice on real-world mechanics of materials problems.

Organisation générale et modalités pédagogiques

The course consists of a general part and an application part.
