The first part introduces the theoretical foundations of homogenization in elasticity, from classical approaches to advanced methods including gamma convergence and micro-macro relationships. Numerical homogenization techniques are also presented and put into practice through exercises and a dedicated sessions. The second part examines complex microstructures whose actual behavior exceeds classical frameworks.
