Présentation du laboratoire

L'institut de Biologie Intégrative de la cellule (I2BC) rassemble de nombreuses équipes de recherche travaillant sur tous les aspects de la cellule, des constitutants cellulaires jusqu'à l'interaction des cellules entre elles. L'institut I2BC se divise en cinq départements de recherche. Le premier département (B3S) s'appuie sur de nombreuses techniques pour étudier les assemblages biologiques à différentes échelles. Le département Biologie Cellulaire utilise de nombreux modèles eucaryotes pour étudier les fonctions physiologiques des cellules. Le département Biologie des Génomes se focalise sur l'étude du matériel génétique. Le département de Microbiologie s'intéresse quant à lui différents organismes, tels les bactéries, les archées et leurs virus, aussi bien pour leurs spécificités qu'en tant que modèles pour étudier les mécanismes biologiques. Enfin, le département de Virologie étudie les interactions hôte-virus et les processus en jeu lors des infections virales.
