Présentation du laboratoire

L'unité Génomique métabolique du génoscope est la structure de recherche fondamentale du génoscope et du centre national de séquençage (CNG). C'est au sein de ce laboratoire que sont faites les études allant de la biodiversité des génomes à celles des réactions chimiques réalisées par le vivant. L'étude se porte sur la compréhension du métabolisme des procaryotes par la découverte de nouvelles réactions chimiques catalysées par le vivant, la découverte de nouveaux biocatalyseurs (chimie verte), le développement de souches bactériennes ou encore le développement de procédés de bio remédiation.
