The text of the call can be downloaded here.

We are looking forward to receive your projects and we are happy to offer a feedback at an early stage. Please, feel free to contact us at institut.pascal@universite-paris-saclay.fr before the 28 November so that we can guide you through the drafting of your proposal.

The proposals will be evaluated and discussed by the Scientific Council of the Institut Pascal. Please find here its composition along the board and local committee members.

Mission

The purpose of Institut Pascal is to provide a meeting place to facilitate the exchange of ideas and the formation of international collaborations, across all of the scientific themes covered by the Paris-Saclay University. One of the institute’s main objectives is to conduct thematic programs likely to attract high-level scientists and PhD students from all over the world, hosting the visiting participants under the best possible conditions. The programs also aim to enable young researchers to address and deepen their understanding of the latest developments in their research field and related topics.

Practical information

Getting here

The IPa building is located at 530 Rue André Rivière, Orsay on the Paris-Saclay University campus.

For those arriving from Paris or Charles de Gaulle airport or from the City, take the RER B train in direction of Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse or Orsay and then get off the train at the Orsay-Ville train station. Then, take a short walk to the bus stop to catch the line 7 bus (Bus direction Plateau de Moulons-Corbeville).

If you are coming from Orly airport, your itinerary will be the same as the one above except you will first need to catch the connecting service from Orly airport to the RER B train station.

For those who do not want to take public transport or drive, please be aware that all of the pedestrian paths to our institute are steep.
