BEST CentraleSupélec - Cercle Europe
International and multicultural
BEST, Board of European Students of Technology, is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organisation. This innovative network of engineering schools covers 34 countries in Europe through its 97 Local BEST Groups. Each local group is a branch of the organisation that promotes communication, cooperation and exchange opportunities for students throughout Europe. The BEST community is based on a close collaboration between engineering students, their universities and companies.
The Local BEST Group in CentraleSupélec, which is very present in the student life of the school since 1988, is in charge of welcoming foreign students coming to CentraleSupélec. It also participates in the organisation of engineering competitions where students of Université Paris-Saclay confront with innovation challenges and organises scientific training seminars for European students in the BEST network.
Bureau des Loisirs
The BDL of ENS Paris-Saclay is the student union that comprises the entertainment clubs such as the Mediatek. It has an independant account and gives the clubs the possibility to organise large events and increase their visibility and communication. Each year, two main events are organised:
- The K-WEI: it is the entertainment version of the Integration Weekend. From Satudray morning to Sunday afternoon, at the end of September), students of the ENS can play board games, video games or live action role-playing games or watch anime. The goal is for the first years to meet each other and for the Integration Weekend to continue in a quieter setting.
- The Interludes: it is the entertainment event InterENS, organised each year by a different ENS for all students. It takes place during three days (from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon), generally in February and the students get the chance to have fun together day and night. This event was organised for the first time in Cachan in 2013.
For the school year 2019-2020, Ka[lud]oscope is in charge of the BDL.

The second event is the Launch Evening ("Soirée de Lancement") on April 11th: this gala evening is the opportunity to launch the main event with a conference featuring personalities from the sports world.

Nature, environment and sustainable development
CirculAgronomy is a student association at AgroParisTech which aims to identify, promote and connect circular economy initiatives in the fields of agriculture and food. To reach these objectives, the association travels in France and abroad to discover numerous initiatives, shares its knowledge on an online platform and organises conferences.
Club Jeux de Rôles & Murders
The JdRM club (roleplay & murder club) organises games in which each participant plays a character and interacts with the other players with the help of a game master.
During a role-play game, the players sit around a table and decide which actions their character wants to do. The game master then tells them whether their attempt was a success or a failure and describes the subsequent situations. Players often have to cooperate to achieve their goals. The theme is often medieval-fantastic and the atmosphere relaxed and entertaining.
During a Murder, on the contrary, the players directly carry out their actions (when possible and with respect) and exchange information with the other players without any intermediary. This game takes place in a larger space, which allows them to negotiate to get information, create alliances and investigate while playing a role.
Each player has different goals and the game master supervises the events to make sure that the game goes on smoothly.
The club also organises several life-size games, such as the Trollball during the Integration Weekend.
Congrès Scientifique du Campus de Saclay
Each year, we organise a day of conferences dedicated to research and especially to research on the Paris-Saclay campus. Speakers from laboratories, schools and companies on the plateau gather to present their research area and the limits of their knowledge to science students in higher education, doctoral students and researchers.
