Diversity, equality, disability
We mainly raise awareness on campus and organise a few events around disability. We are also part of the Fédéeh (Student federation for a study and employment dynamic with a disability).

ADEI (Association des Élèves de l'ISTY)
The ADEI (association of ISTY students) is the student union of the ISTY, located on the Vélizy campus. It co-organises with the ESSAIM the student life events of the ISTY, and in particular those on the Vélizy campus.
It also organises events for Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, such as the public speaking competition, which gather all departments of the university.
AE2V (Association des Etudiants de Vélizy-Villacoublay)
The AE2V (association of students of Vélizy-Villacoublay) is the student union of the IUT of Vélizy.
Created in 2012, the AE2V aims to regularly organise events in order to boost the rather isolated campus of the IUT of Vélizy.
We wish to develop interactions between all students from the different departments of the IUT (GEII, INFO, MMI and R&T) by offering sports, festive, cultural or entertaining activities throughout the year, or by giving everyone the opportunity to get involved in personal, collective or humanitarian projects.
In order to promote exchanges and facilitate communication with other students of Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, we have joined Interassos UVSQ and its large network of associations.
Arts and culture
The AFREUBO (Philharmonic association of inhabitants and students of les Ulis, Bures and Orsay) is a harmony orchestra (wind instruments and percussions, possibly with double basses). Founded by a few students in Orsay more than 50 years ago, it has about a hundred musicians and performs thoughout the region, in the provinces and also abroad. It is open to all amateur musicians regardless of their instrumental level, as the objective is to join a large orchestra, to improve in ensemble performance and to practice playing the works of the repertoire. You will have the opportunity to participate in concerts and other events throughout the year. When a musician does not have any instruments, the AFREUBO can also provide its set of instruments.

International and multicultural
Air'asmus is an association that aims to welcome foreign students who come to complete all or part of their studies at the IUT of Sceaux or at Université Paris-Sud.
Discovering the French culture, through multiple and varied activities, is an essential dimension of a successful academic stay.
The association also supports any student trip abroad in a multicultural perspective.

Alma Mater, les Jardins Partagés de l'Université Paris-Sud
Nature, environment and sustainable development
The objective of the association is to learn how to garden collective plots together, whether you are a beginner or an experienced gardener, while respecting nature and helping to reduce waste by composting green waste. No phytosanitary products are used on the plots and the free and reproducible seeds we sow come from organic farming.
We are also trying to promote biodiversity in our gardens, for example through insect hotels and plants that attract pollinators.
The gardens are located between buildings 400 (on Grégor Mendel street, to the north), 360 (on Doyen André Guinier street, to the south) and 409 (to the east). They can be accessed from the parking lot of building 409 or by the pedestrian path that connects building 337 to building 409.
The APOIL (association of enthusiasts about entertaining and interactive games) is a student association of Université Paris-Sud made up of game enthusiasts.
We like to share our passion for video games by organising tournaments, LAN parties or thematic freeplay areas and we try to make the public discover new things and reflect during our events.
We have been working on a videogame creation approach for a few years by organising Game Jams (events to create prototypes in a given time) or trainings on game design, sound design, graphics, programming.
We also participate in external events, for example in multimedia libraries or at conventions. For instance, we organised trainings and a game jam to apply the new skills learned during the training at the Press Start video game festival at the Centre Pompidou, and we participated in the Japan Expo 2017 with more than 300 m² of free video games.
We do our best to offer fun and free activities to the students on campus. Our activities are thus not limited to video games but also include movie screenings, all kinds of DIYs, digital works, a space to meet and exchange ideas... The only way to know what APOIL really is is to come and discover it for yourself!
