Université Paris-Saclay has a large scientific community that works at the intersection between biology, chemistry, and physics (IBCP). Exploring scientific interdisciplinary is built on common interest and curiosity as well as respectful and fruitful collaboration.

In that sense, we understand the “traditional” terms of scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, and physics) in a more open manner including life science, chemistry, physics, and engineering. The recent creation of Université Paris-Saclay (December 2014), which bring together approximately 10,000 researchers from 300 laboratories, has created an unprecedented opportunity for new collaborations and reinforcement of existing partnerships. Six of the 10 departments of Université Paris-Saclay are actively involved in research activities at the IBCP.
