Open call for 5 M2 scholarships for 2023-2024 internships

The INanoTheRad center aims to foster new interdisciplinary collaborations within the University of Paris-Saclay to advance cancer treatments through nanotechnology and innovative radiotherapy. It brings together many teams ranging from fundamental research to medical application, and covering disciplines such as physics, chemistry and biology. In this context, INanoTheRad finances 5 M2 scholarships, within the framework of internships associating at least two distinct teams and proposing new and innovative research subjects, and if possible interdisciplinary.

If you are interested, please send to inanotherad(at)universite-paris-saclay.fr a one-page didactic argument highlighting the originality of the subject of the internship and its interdisciplinary nature. The submission deadline is May 31.

Subjects will be selected by the INanoTherad steering committee at the end of June, for internships scheduled in the academic year 2023-2024. The scholarships awarded cover internship allowances. The criteria used for the selection will be: the originality of the subject, the adequacy with the themes of INanoTheRad, the membership of a ED of Paris-Saclay and an effective collaboration between 2 teams members of the Center during the internship.

Special Issue on Innovative Radiation Therapies 

Publish in the INanoTheRad Special Issue. INanoTheRad has set-up a Special Issue dedicated to Innovative Radiation Therapies with 7 journals of Mdpi with impact factors between 5.7 and 7.7 (Innovative Radiation Therapies (mdpi.com)) and you are all kindly invited to submit your work for publication. Please note that INanoTheRad will fund the 10 first submitted papers.

We think that this is a very rare occasion to bring together all the disciplines that are involved in our research to increase dissemination and exploitation of results important to cancer therapy. We hope you will find this initiative useful to your own research.

INanoTheRad coordination proposes to mobilize its forces to help set up and write research projects likely to benefit all or part of the community. The help we offer consists in the animation of the consortium, the search for partners, the writing of the proposal, the proofreading of the project by experts and finally the submission.
