Major open global data sources will be presented, and two of them (FAOSTATS and the Global Yield Gap and Water Productivity Atlas) will be used during tutorial classes to perform some calculations and simple statistics analyses (with R or Excel software).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\n                      \u003C\/div\u003E\n                  \u003C\/div\u003E\n        \u003Cdiv class=\u0022field-spacing\u0022\u003E\n      \u003Cdiv class=\u0022field__label h3 dash\u0022\u003EObjectifs d\u0026#039;apprentissage\u003C\/div\u003E\n                        \u003Cdiv class=\u0022mt-5 text-justify\u0022\u003E\n                                      \u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAgronomists play a crucial role in addressing global challenges within the context of a rapidly growing global population, changing diets, and the need to reduce the environmental footprint of agriculture. Students will be asked to form groups of 3 to 7 (depending on the number of students) at the beginning of the class. Each group will select a subject from a list proposed by the teachers and deliver an oral presentation at the end of the class on the chosen subject, based on lectures, tutorial classes, and information gathered from other sources. The presentation will be in English for all students. This oral evaluation (3 hours in total) may be supplemented by a written evaluation (individual or group), which will be announced at the beginning of the class.
