The vice-rector in charge of education, professionalization and the development of ICTs at the University of Yaounde II visited Université Paris-Saclay on 16 May.
Following the visit of several universities in Cameroon by president Sylvie Retailleau last March (see our article), Université Paris-Saclay welcomed Prof. Come Ebana Mvogo, Vice-rector in charge of education, professionalization and the development of ICTs at the University of Yaoundé II, with Dr. Viola Andin Dohmova, ophthalmologist, Assistant lecturer at the Faculty of medicine.
During his visit, Prof Mvogo met with representatives of the Hôpitaux universitaires Paris-Sud (Paris-Sud university hospitals), including Prof. Daniele de Luca, Head of the Pediatrics and Neonatal Ressuscitation unit at the Hôpital Antoine-Béclère, in order to develop partnerships in medicine, as well as several players of innovative education at Université Paris-Sud, and from the Institut Villebon - Georges Charpak in order to discuss measures that could be set up at the University of Yaounde II to develop the implementation of ICTs, in particular for distance learning.
