This year, the laboratories and institutions of Université Paris-Saclay are organising 17 international summer schools and short training programmes, throughout France and Europe, in a variety of disciplinary fields, and for all audiences.

Throughout the year, the laboratories and institutions of Université Paris-Saclay offer international summer schools. Open to a public of undergrads, graduates and post-graduates, as well as engineers and researchers of the university but also from other French or international partners, these summer schools are offered in many disciplinary fields and in different locations: from the prestigious Université Paris-Saclay campus all the way through to Italy and Germany.

Chemistry, engineering, mathematics, physics, astrophysics, life sciences, humanities, TIC – there is plenty to choose from. Each school offers a unique programme, over the course of a few days or even several weeks with a wealth of cultural and social visits within an international group.

Increased knowledge and expertise, reinforced scientific and professional network – when you join in an international summer school programme, you benefit from a rewarding experience in all areas. You have access to cutting-edge equipment and laboratories as well as high-level teaching taught by specialists of the university and internationally-renowned guests.

In 2019, 17 summer schools in nine different areas are organised, some jointly with French and international partners (Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy). Four of these (against three last year) were selected by the prestigious Ecoles d’été France Excellence programme of the French Embassy in China in the fields of aeronautics, arctic studies, genomics and nanotechnologies.
