On 21-22 March 2017 UPSaclay’s Director of International Relations, Director of Public Relations, and representatives of  6 UPSaclay founding members attended one of the world’s most influential international forums and conferences on higher education APAIE held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. 

Delegates of ENS Paris-Saclay, UVSQ, Telecom SudParis, Telecom ParisTech, AgroParisTech, and UPSud met over 30 international partners from the Asia-Pacific region and discussed with them potential projects of cooperation. 

Simultaneously with the APAIE Conference, the French-Taiwanese University Forum was held under the auspices of FICHET, Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan, and CPU, Conference of French Universities’ Presidents, where Pierre-Paul Zalio, President of ENS Paris-Saclay, represented the interests of Université Paris-Saclay and made a presentation on its innovative policy and potential. 

After the forum, UPSud, UVSQ, ENS Paris-Saclay and UPSaclay’s directors of international relations and public relations met the university’s academic partners in Hsinchu (NCTU and NTHU) and Taipei (NTU), where further plans of cooperation were discussed.
