A delegation from Université Paris-Saclay went to the MIT campus in Cambridge, USA, for the 21st European Career Fair on February 25. There they met with several of the major universities in the Boston area.
The European Career Fair is the largest European recruitment event in the United States. The annual fair, which started in 1997, was held at MIT this year.
A delegation from Université Paris-Saclay, including Guillaume Garreta, director of international development, and Sylvie Pommier, director of the doctoral college, was at the fair to present Université Paris-Saclay's master's and doctoral programs and the innovation schemes the University has set up. Appearing alongside the UPSaclay stand were four of its founding members: ENSAE Paristech, HEC, Ecole Polytechnique and Université Paris-Sud.
Prior to the fair, members of the delegation met with their counterparts from Northeastern University, Harvard and several of MIT's components, including the Sloan School of Management, to discuss student exchange opportunities and prospects for cooperation concerning research and innovation programs – for the latter, with MIT's famous Fablab in particular.
