The NectarCam mini-camera (CANEVAS project supported by funding from LabEx P2IO) was installed at the Medium Sized Telescope (MST) prototype of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) in Adlershof, Berlin.

During the night of May 22 to 23, NectarCam saw its first light! Data collection will continue until June 19th. NectarCam will be completed by the end of 2019 and the MST telescope equipped with NectarCam will then be installed around mid-2020 at CTA's North site in La Palma, Canary Islands.

Several UPSaclay teams are working on NectarCam and the CTA project. More information on CTA available at this link
