For its new edition, the Design & Science Prize of Université Paris-Saclay invites design and science students to join forces to imagine innovative solutions in the field of urban agriculture.
Singapore: an exemplary case
Due to a lack of available agricultural land, almost all of Singapore's food is today imported. To reduce its dependence and face the risks of shortages, the city-state supports the development of innovative initiatives in favour of non-conventional, local and sustainable agriculture. Gathered in multidisciplinary teams, the students will be inspired by this context and will imagine, in one semester, new solutions to integrate agriculture into megacities.
The winning team receives:
- a trip to Singapore
- a scholarship of 3000 €
- a tailor-made coaching by an incubator
- the project's exhibition at Laval Virtual
2019-2020 students at one of the member institutions of Université Paris-Saclay have untill September 30, 2019 to enroll.
