ECORCE is the name of a new brand of innovative leather goods launched by two student entrepreneurs from Université Paris-Saclay. Coached by the PEPITE PEIPS, they have evolved their idea of computer handbag into a product finalized and available today on the market.


The two designers, Ombeline Marès and Alexiane Richard-Bôle wanted to make available a new concept of handbag, designed to easily carry a laptop. Their desire is to offer quality creations, at a fair price, and in a responsible way. "Slow fashion" is at the heart of their vision of fashion. They named this brand "ECORCE" (translattion in english: "bark") in reference to the bark of birch, symbol of elegance, but also to highlight the quality of the protection of the contents of these handbags.

ECORCE is part of the projects coached by Université Paris-Saclay through the Student-Entrepreneur diploma. Thanks to this training, student entrepreneurs evolve in a dynamic environment that allows them to meet and exchange with other project leaders but also to benefit from regular monitoring by professionals. And the benefits of this coaching do not stop there!
