The PhD graduation ceremony of Université Paris-Saclay was, for the second year, the occasion to share an outstanding moment between graduate students, their relatives and the Université Paris-Saclay’s staff.
More than 300 PhD graduates came together on Friday 30th to celebrate the achievement of their studies, dressed with the traditional cap and gown. Their relatives were able to witness this important moment, when students received their diplomas and were congratulated on stage by Gilles Bloch—president of Université Paris-Saclay, Sylvie Pommier—Director of the Doctoral College of Université Paris-Saclay, and the directors of the Doctoral Schools.
Hard sciences, human sciences, law and political sciences … the PhD tracks at Université Paris-Saclay are widely diversified, with 20 doctoral schools in many fields of research.
After an average of 3 years of research and a final thesis defense, PhD students are ready to work in the scientific research. Receiving their PhDs is the result of long and hard years of studying!
Congratulations to all our new PhDs, wishing you a successful future!
