As every year since 2015, the Université Paris-Saclay has organised a training session dedicated to individual MSCA fellowships. And this year again, the day was a great success!

The Université Paris-Saclay* organised on Friday 29 May a half-day theoretical session dedicated to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships under the Horizon 2020 programme. These individual projects make it possible to finance the mobility of researchers (post-doctoral fellows or experienced researchers) for 12 to 36 months around a research project in Europe or outside Europe. This session was intended for researchers wishing to submit an application but also for anyone wishing to find out about these incoming and outgoing international mobility grants.

The training was led by Mateja DEMSAR from the Executive Agency for Research and Morgane BUREAU from the NCP Actions Marie Sklodowska-Curie. They presented the individual grants tool and explained the important steps in preparing an application.

The workshop continued with Juergen KROYMANN (University of Paris-Sud) who presented the role and interest of being an expert evaluator at the European Commission: become an independant expert for the European Commission

Finally, a round table was organised around various speakers specialising in individual fellowships (Cécile Agosta, laureate; Mateja Demsar, AER; Morgane Bureau, MSCA N.P.C; Juergen Kruymann, expert evaluator; Joo Von Kim, supervisor). Throughout this training, the exchanges with the public were numerous and rich, which made this half-day all the more interesting. 70 people had come to attend the event!

We also thank all the speakers who participated, as well as the organizing committee that contributed to the success of the event.

For those who were unable to attend the session, a video is available: video of the 2019 Individual Scholarship Workshop

Following this theoretical half-day, a practical session is organised on 25 June 2019. On this occasion, researchers engaged in writing an application will be offered an individual interview. Registration is open until Friday, June 21!
