For its 12th year, the Cifre Forum took place on March 16th at the Cité internationale Universitaire, Paris. Companies and University Paris-Saclay presented the Cifre fellowships.

A Cifre fellowship (which stands for Industrial Agreement of Training through Research) is a PhD thesis prepared both in a public laboratory and a french private company. Since 12 years, Forum Cifre has informed on this 3 year fellowship that allows PhD students to train for research while taking part, as an employee, in the development and life of a company.

Large companies and SMBs were therefore at the Cité international Universitaire, looking for PhD students for their Cifre thesis, but also for master degree interns. The program also included conferences and testimonies, in partnership with the french national association for research and technology (ANRT) and the french Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

University Paris-Saclay was there with some offers of Cifre fellowships. Its 20 doctoral schools were presented, which produce 1400 doctors annually in as varied a field as agriculture, health science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or social sciences.
