Support for international students, PhD candidates and researchers at the GATE Paris-Saclay

The GATE Paris-Saclay offers help and support for international students, PhD candidates and researchers at Université Paris-Saclay, and is open until December 2024.

In order to help the university’s international community with the various admin procedures and applications required when settling in France for the first time, the GATE Paris-Saclay benefits from the participation of the CPAM (health insurance), CAF (housing and family welfare benefits), CROUS (accommodation and grants) and France Travail (professional careers). It provides information and support for:

  • student visas, admin procedures and student life at Université Paris-Saclay
  • all procedures and integration initiatives (Science Accueil)
  • social security (CPAM)
  • accommodation and welfare benefits (CAF)
  • accommodation and grants (CROUS)
  • student jobs and careers (France Travail).

The GATE Paris-Saclay is co-run by the Sous-Préfecture de Palaiseau, the association Science Accueil, Université Paris-Saclay and Institut Polytechnique de Paris. It is located on the university’s Vallée campus at the University Library, Building 407, rue du Doyen Georges Poitou, 91400 Orsay.

The Gate Paris-Saclay is open until 20 December 2024, from Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm.
