
On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, Université Paris-Saclay is organizing its second week of the equality from March 6th to 10th 2017, on the issue of sexism, in collaboration with students and staff members.
In the objective to fight against stereotypes about gender by providing good practices, many awareness-raising actions are proposed. It will be the occasion to reaffirm equality between women and men as one of the structuring and transversal theme of Université Paris-Saclay.
Programme
Three exhibitions
Université Paris-Saclay has created three exhibitions that are avaible free of charge:
- "Le sexisme ordinaire" (everyday sexism) : an exhibition so as to understand everyday sexism, with illustrations from the illustrator Catel, based on testimonies of students from Université Paris-Saclay
- "Olympe de Gouges - Benoîte Groult : Deux époques, deux parcours pour l'égalité" (two era, two paths for equality) : the exhibition illustrates the progession of women's laws
- "Infinités Plurielles" : the exhibition illustrates 17 portraits of researcher women from Université Paris-Saclay so as to highlight progression of women working in science.
A kit of animations
Université Paris-Saclay created with students a kit of animations to raise awareness on fight against sexism. Through a campaign of involvment, quiz, cards and videos, students will be able to set animations during the week of equality and after.

Activities in each institution member of Université Paris-Saclay
Each institution has its own programme: debates, conferences and concerts, round tables, coach of equality, etc.
