The Université Paris-Saclay* organizes a Workshop about Open Access on Tuesday, the 25th of October 2016.
This Workshop will be held in two sessions:
- Theory session (9h-12h30): the first part of the Workshop is dedicated to general rules of Open Access, and particularly to Data Management Plan. The target audience is researches and professors-researchers involved in European projects, as well as research support staff (Europe).
- Practical session (14h-16h30): the second part of the Workshop targets researches and professors-researches involved in European projects and who want to learn to compile a Data Management Plan. For efficiency purposes, the session is hosting no more than 10-12 people in order to favor the discussion and efficiency.

Since 2017 European Commission extends the principle of free access, that is already applied to publications and research data. Free access to data becomes an obligation for all new projects that are financed in the context of Horizon 2020. Till now, only the projects themes that stems from Open Research Data Pilot had to follow this rule.
