Associations are essential to make the voice of doctoral candidates and doctors, to create social links and nurturing a community.
International and national associations of doctoral candidates and doctors make them heard by institution in charge of doctoral training, government and the public.
Regional or local associations are, internally, essential actors of important events that punctuate the life of the community of doctoral candidates (welcoming days, graduation ceremony, doctoriales ...), they create social links, inform and represent doctoral students. They also help to establish an alumni network and to promote the doctors of the University Paris-Saclay.
The elected representatives of doctoral candidates in the bodies of the University Paris-Saclay (academic council, council of the doctoral college, council of each doctoral school) make the voice of doctoral candidates in each of these bodies, relay information to them and defend their interests and viewpoints (see Organization and contacts).
